ACADEMY FALL FOLLIES. WTMA Vocal Ensembles will present an evening of pop music on Tuesday, November 27 at 7:30 PM. Admission price: $5. The event will be held at the West Texas Music Academy Recital Hall – 1611 East 8th – Odessa, Texas.

SUMMER CAMPS AT WTMA: June 4 – August 8. WTMA hosts a variety of summer camps for elementary school children. Exploring Music Camp; Song and Dance Camp; Rock Star Camp; World Drumming Camp; Mini-Musical Camp.
ACADEMY SPRING SING: Saturday, May 5, 7 p.m. – Ector Theatre in Downtown Odessa. (Fundraiser for WTMA.) All of our vocal ensemble students (other than Little Singers) will participate. Pop music will be featured including songs made famous by Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Queen, The Beatles, Sugarland, Neil Diamond, Adele, Justin Bieber, Tina Turner and more. Plan to attend. WTMA MUSIC FESTIVAL: Saturday, May 12 – (students will be given a specific performance time.) This will be an optional opportunity for WTMA private lesson students to perform for adjudication. Participating students will pay a $10 entry fee. Two selections should be performed from memory for a judge. Student will receive evaluation form, certificate, and will earn points toward trophies.
WTMA REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER SESSION: WTMA teachers are planning a variety of summer music opportunities for your children. We plan to present a children’s musical and several week long camps with a big finale performance. And, of course, the return of Magnificent, Marvelous Musical Mondays! WTMA SPRING RECITALS: Saturday, May 19 and Sunday, May 20. Your teacher will let you know your child’s recital time. All ensembles and private lesson students will perform. Recitals will be held at WTMA.
