My daughter has taken piano and voice lessons from West Texas Music Academy for the past 8 years and we have loved every minute of it.  Mrs. Kathy and staff put so much time and effort into making it fun, connecting with their students, going above and beyond to teach and have their students ready for performances and competitions, and to sharing their musical skills and knowledge with their students.  They are so encouraging and uplifting as students face new tasks and challenges.  We live in Midland and it’s worth the drive!  Choosing WTMA is one of the best decisions we made for our child to grow as a musician.

West Texas Music Academy has been an incredible gift to our family and so many others West Texas.  Their passion for music education is evident in everything they do, from their welcoming atmosphere to the dedication of their instructors.  WTMA isn’t just a place to learn notes and chords – it’s a place where students discover their unique musical voice and are encouraged every step of the way.  We’re so thankful for the positive impact they’ve had on our son and the entire music-loving community.

This is where “stars” will be born, if the Lollars are involved. They were trained by the best! I have been in the music business for 30 years. Presently I am on the A&R staff of Taxi Music Services. If you are thinking about anything musical…this is the place to go in West Texas!

John Gillian, Past President Texas Music Educators’ Association

Anything and everything musical that is touched by the Lollars always seems to be inspired to greatness. I certainly expect that amazing music and musicians will be a continuing Lollar legacy through the West Texas Music Academy.
