Performances, Competitions, and Festivals.
Our students are offered multiple performance and competition opportunities throughout the year. We present our students in formal recital twice each year. Scattered between these main events, we also have a variety of informal performances (where we wear Halloween costumes, pajames, and who – knows – what else.) Students who enjoy competition are prepared for their choice of Piano Guild, West Texas Guitar Festival, and the West Texas Music Academy Performance Festival. Our voice teaches help prepare choir students for their competitions in UIL Solo contests and All-Region and All-State Choir competition. When appropriate, our students may choose to compete in the West Texas Talent Search or the Permian Basin Fair Talent Show.

Our students are NEVER pushed into competition! The decision to compete is made on an individual basis with the consent of the teacher, parent and the student.
